I like to cook things that I want to eat, and love to mess with perception or interpretation of a classic. I take a great amount of pride being invited into a stranger’s home to bring them an experience and share stories. My goal is for the guests to be relaxed, have confidence, let me do the work, and to leave the space better than I found it! Sandwiches are something I have always enjoyed making, even before I became a professional. They are something I have always made for myself at work, and I believe that we can all relate to a good sandwich! Have I said sandwich enough yet?!

I have 29 years of hospitality experience from dish washer to culinary director and a lot in between. I grew up in Ohio, have lived in Vermont, California, Oregon, Georgia, and I call Chicago home. I draw a lot from my midwest roots with French technique a peppering of southern cuisine and a west coast playfulness. I love the connectivity we all have to food and how we all experience it in our own way.
